Ghana Cafe yesterday (June 8) |
Since Friday (June 6), the restaurant has been dark, complimentary newspaper reviews have been removed from the windows, and the interior furniture has been removed or overturned. There was no additional information on the restaurant's web site.
Neither side in the lawsuit wished to comment on the Ghana Cafe's closing for this story.
Too bad! Never ate their but also never saw it with more than a handful of people. Guess it wasn't a big seller. Nature of small business though, you have to offer a quality product people want or you fail.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jim Kane, for protecting us from dogs in stores and all of the evil African restaurants. You do a great service for the neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteYep, it's Jim Kane's fault. Be damned those crazy sunshine laws that allow citizens to seek some insight into the back door dealings of their elected officials. I'm sure the closing had nothing to do with the chronic empty chairs of the place during lunch and dinner.
DeleteAnd right before the world cup, too. What a shame. Hope it reopens!
